Café Coyote y Cantina Address: 2461 San Diego Ave., San Diego 92110 Telephone: (619) 291-4695 Café Coyote serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is one of my favorite Old Town restaurants. The food is fabulous. A great place for banquets with a choice of 3 different rooms. Happy hours on weekdays from 3:30 to 6 PM.

Casa Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant Address: 4105 Taylor Street, San Diego 92110 Telephone: (619) 295-5111 Open daily for lunch and dinner. Also open for breakfast on weekends. Casa Guadalajara is a festive Mexican restaurant that resembles a Mexican hacienda. Enjoy strolling mariachis and great margaritas. This Old Town restaurant has a popular happy hour that includes both drink specials and free appetizers.

El Agave Tequileria Address: 2304 San Diego Ave., San Diego Telephone: (619) 220-0692 Open daily for lunch and dinner. El Agave is known for its fabulous mole salsa and extensive tequila selection.
El Fandango Restaurant Address: 2734 Calhoun Street, San Diego 92110 Telephone: (619) 298-2860 Open daily serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. El Fandango is in a delightful adobe building. Enjoy both alcoholic and nonalcoholic margaritas at this historic restaurant.
Fred’s Mexican Café Address: 2470 San Diego Avenue, San Diego 92110 Telephone: (619) 858-8226 Fred’s Mexican Restaurant is a lively Mexican restaurant. Visit on Tuesdays to enjoy “Taco-licous Tuesdays” when you can buy tacos for $2 and enjoy drink specials as well.

Jack & Guilio’s Italian Restaurant Address: 2391 San Diego Avenue, San Diego, CA 92110 Telephone: (619) 294-2074 Formerly known as Guilio’s of Pacific Beach. Jack and Guilio’s is known for its famous scampi. This family-owned and operated restaurant offers many homemade pastas, veal, poultry, beef, and seafood specialties.

New Orleans Creole Café Address: 2476 San Diego Ave., San Diego, 92110 Telephone: (619) 542-1698 Open Thursday – Mondays 11:30 AM – 9 PM. Dine on authentic Creole dishes. New Orleans Creole Café is located in Whaley House, one of the most haunted houses in the country.
O'Hungry's Address: 2547 San Diego Ave., San Diego, 92110 Telephone: (619) 298-0133 O’Hungry’s is famous for its beers by the yard. You drink three feet of beer served in a special glass that sits on a wooden stand on the floor. Also serving soup, salads, sandwiches, ribs, chicken, steak, and pastas.
