Green fees are generally lower Monday through Thursday. Many San Diego golf courses have special twillight rates and residents usually enjoy reduced rates.

It overlooks the Gatiquitos Lagoon in Carlsbad. It's a gorgeous golf course with breathtaking ocean views.

The championship 18-hole course overlooks the San Diego skyline, San Diego Harbor, with the ocean in the background. Reservations are difficult to get as the green fees are quite reasonable.

Located 25 miles from San Diego it's an mpeccable golf course with panoramic views.
Coronado Municipal Golf Course Address: 2000 Visalia Row, Coronado, CA 92118 Telephone: (619) 435-3121 Designer: Jack Daray Par: 72 This well maintained municipal course with its gorgeous views of downtown San Diego along with the reasonable green fees makes this an extremely popular golf course. It's difficult to get a time play this course unless you are a local familiar with the unique lottery system used.

There are 27 hole that meander along the San Diego River. Thereare also four lakes and a waterfall.
Carlton Oaks Country Club Address: 9200 Inwood Drive, Santee, CA 92071 Telephone: (619)448-8500 Designer: Perry Dye Par: 72 Phil Mickelson grew up playing this course. The Lodge at Carlton Oaks offers accommodations for a reasonably priced golf getaway 20 miles from downtown San Diego.
Steele Canyon Golf Club Address: 3199 Stonefield Drive, Jamul, CA 91935 Telephone: 619-441-6900 Designer: Gary Player Par: 71 Steele Canyon Golf Club is located 20 miles east of downtown San Diego and consists of three nine-hole courses with one nine winding its way through an actual working ranch.
Sycuan Golf Resort & Casino Address: 3007 Dehesa Road, El Cajon, CA 92019 Telephone: (619)442-3425 Designer: Ted Robinson Par: 72 Sycuan is located 25 miles northeast of downtown San Diego. Owned by the Sycuan Tribal Development Corporation, this is a popular golf course associated with a resort and casino a few miles up the road from the course.
Torrey Pines Golf Course Address: 11480 North Torrey Pines Road, La Jolla, CA 92037 Telephone: (858) 570-1234 Designer: Originally designed by William F. Bell and redesigned in 2001 by Rees Jones Par: 72 Torrey Pines Golf Course is located 20 minutes north of downtown San Diego overlooking the spectacular San Diego coastline. There are two 18-hole courses. Both courses are played by PGA Tour professionals at the Buick Invitation every winter. This is an extremely popular course. Recommendations should be made in advance.
