A free Carriage ride for a beautiful lady

My wife loves horses and we would always stop and see the horse drawn carriage for a minute every time we went to Seaport Village. Wealways say that one day we would take the tour.



One day I prepaid a 45 minute carriage ride. I knew my wife would want to stop to see the horses after our dinner at the Harbor House, so I asked the driver to say "I have noticed that you always stop and admire the horses, and a beautiful lady like yourself deserves to be driven like a princess, would you accept this gift, on us?"



She had given birth to our son 3 months previously and was feeling self conscious about her weight. Every woman likes to hear how beautiful she is and though she tried to gracefully decline, she had to accept when the driver insisted.



She glowed for weeks after that. It was an unforgettable tour. I never told her I had prepaid. To this day she feels that her beauty earned us a free tour.
