Overlooking La Jolla Cove, George's Outdoor Dining Bistro has the spectacular ocean view dining. It's the best place to watch the sun sink slowly into the Pacific Ocean. Make reservations for a table near the water and time it so you'll be dining while the sun sets. Dinner entrees range from $14-$20 and do not include soup or salad. They do have a more expensive and formal indoor restaurant, but you can't beat the outdoor dining for romantic value. This is one of the top San Diego romantic restaurants.

The unique thing about the Marine Room is that the ocean is right outside the window. During high tide the water is just inches from the glass. It's a fantastic ocean view. The atmosphere is casually elegant and perfect for romantic conversation. There's often live music on Friday and Saturday evenings.Dinner entrees range from $29-$39 and do not include soup or salad. They also serve lunch and Sunday brunch at this romantic San Diego restaurant.

Take a stroll around the area where the restaurant is located to enjoy the beautiful Spanish Colonial architecture, water fountains, and lovely landscaping. Inside the restaurant you find a classic Spanish feel mixed with colorful accents such as the blown glass sculptures and unique chandeliers. If you dine indoors, request the more intimate Courtyard room where candlelight dining is at its best. The lights and gardens around the patio create a romantic setting for outdoor dining making this one of the best San Diego romantic restaurants.Dinner entrees range from $14.95-$31.95 and salad or soup is not included. Most entrees are in the low twenty dollar range.

The original location on Fifth Avenue is a small charming setting where you can share a dessert indoors or outside on the intimate patio. This is the more romantic location. However, the location on Union serves meals in addition to delicious desserts.
